What does Sam Son Beach Square have that attracts 10,000 tourists every day?

On May 1, information from the Sam Son Beach Square Management Board said that during the first two days of the holiday (April 29-30), the number of tourists flocking to the square was very large. Of which, April 29 welcomed about 10,000 people; April 30 welcomed about 11,000 people.

Every evening, Sam Son beach square attracts thousands of tourists to enjoy the water music.

The main attraction for tourists is the two fountains. This is the only large-scale fountain project in Thanh Hoa province.

Sam Son Beach Square was invested bySun Group and started construction in October 2020. On April 22, the square was put into operation on the occasion of Sam Son City opening the 2023 beach tourism season.

The square is 2.6 km long, 120 m wide, and can accommodate about 10,000 people.

This is a completely new tourism product in Thanh Hoa province, with unique characteristics to satisfy the entertainment needs of tourists.

Sam Son Beach Square with its fountains as its highlight is an attractive destination for tourists when coming to Sam Son.

Along the square, unique architectural and landscape works have been invested in, including 20 bronze drum-shaped decorative trees, inspired by the images and patterns on bronze drums, along with a pre-programmed themed artistic lighting system.

The 1:1 scale model of the Rooster and Hen Islet simulates the image of the Rooster and Hen Islet on Truong Le Mountain (Sam Son City).

In particular, the 2 fountains use German technology with 300 nozzles and a lighting system combined with full-range speakers and synchronized ultrasonic speakers. The fountain is controlled by a modern software system, creating a water music show with many themes such as: sublimation of light, sunlight rendezvous, sea symphony, love melody...

Every day during the April 30 - May 1 holiday attracts 10,000 visitors to the sea square.

According to the plan, the fountains will perform for 15 minutes each time, taking place at fixed times of 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. During the holidays of April 30 and May 1, the performances will be continuous from April 29 to May 2.

The square's pavement is inspired by famous boulevards around the world, such as the Champs-Élysées, and uses 4.9 million naturally sourced cubic stones for paving, in three different colors.

The Sea Square is a new tourism product of Sam Son coastal city, contributing to increasing the attractiveness of this coastal city, attracting tourists to achieve the goal of welcoming 7.2 million visitors in 2023.
