On National Highway 24, through Mang Den Commune, Quang Ngai Province, a crack about 50 meters long appeared, causing a landslide on the positive slope, posing a potential risk to traffic safety.
The landslide is located at Km99+350, about 1,000 cubic meters of rock and soil have spilled onto a part of the road. Heavy rains in recent days have increased the risk of the slide continuing to slide down. Currently, vehicles can still pass through the route, but the locality has posted warning signs and arranged forces to be on duty 24/7.
Mr. Nguyen Nhat Truong, Vice Chairman of Mang Den Commune People's Committee, Quang Ngai Province, said that this morning, November 1, the locality mobilized two excavators, one loader and four trucks to clear about 1,000 cubic meters of rock and soil that had collapsed onto National Highway 24, ensuring safe and smooth traffic along the entire route.
