In the second quarter of 2023, the labor force and the number of employed workers continued to increase compared to the previous quarter and the same period last year.
The world economy in the third quarter of 2023 showed many signs of improvement, with international organizations adjusting their forecasts for global economic growth in 2023 to slightly increase compared to previous forecasts. The labor market worldwide, especially in developed countries, has low unemployment rates and increasing job opportunities for workers.
Domestically, the labor force and number of employed people in the third quarter of 2023 continued to increase compared to the previous quarter and the same period last year, of which the employed population reached 51.3 million people, an increase of 87.4 thousand people compared to the previous quarter and an increase of 523.6 thousand people compared to the same period last year.
