With rights comes responsibility.

On May 17, the National Assembly passed a Resolution on a number of special mechanisms and policies to create breakthroughs in law making and enforcement. Accordingly, the National Assembly agreed to spend no less than 0.5% of the total annual budget on law making and gradually increase it according to development requirements.

In particular, the Resolution also stipulates that those who directly and regularly do consulting work on strategy and policy research and law making are entitled to monthly support equal to 100% of their salary according to their current salary coefficient.

More specifically, to attract talented people to perform the task of building and enforcing laws, the Resolution has allowed excellent graduates with university degrees or higher in various fields and professions and who have completed an in-depth training program on building laws to be given priority for recruitment into agencies and units performing this task.

These are considered timely policies to stimulate the responsibility and working spirit of those involved in the work of building and organizing law enforcement; they will certainly do better, with higher responsibility in their work, thereby avoiding the situation of "group interests" being inserted into legal documents. The policy of reorganizing the apparatus of the political system requires responsible, courageous, and ethical people for the common interests of the nation.

Therefore, the subjects specified in the resolution such as full-time National Assembly deputies, full-time provincial People's Council deputies, civil servants, officers of the armed forces, other subjects belonging to the Party and Vietnam Fatherland Front agencies... need to determine their own mindset in the face of quality requirements in the work of building and organizing law enforcement in the coming time.

It is both an honor and a pride for individuals to be chosen as the "weighers" for implementing regulations in social life, so the rights stipulated in the resolution must come with impartial responsibility.
