
Attending the program were comrades: Tran Trong Dung, Vice President of Vietnam Journalists Association ; Tang Huu Phong, Deputy Head of Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
The songwriting campaign "The Country is Full of Joy" was launched to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025). After nearly 2 years of organization, there were 166 works by 122 authors across the country participating.
The songwriting campaign "The Country is Full of Joy" received the participation of musicians from many generations, who have made many contributions to the country's music industry. The newspaper Nguoi Lao Dong awarded the "Lifetime Musician for Vietnamese Music" award to musicians Pham Minh Tuan and Tran Xuan Tien.

The contest had no first prize. The organizers awarded two second prizes to two musicians: Tran Xuan Mai Tram with the song Singing about the City I Love , and Nguyen Van Chung with the song Following the Sacred Will .
The two third prizes went to musician Huynh Huu Duc with the song City of Smiles , and musician Nguyen Duy Khoi with the song Ho Chi Minh City: 50 Years of Sharing a Joy .
The encouragement prize was awarded to 3 musicians: Ngo Duy Thanh with the song Thanh pho noi nhung nhip cau , Pham Hoang Long with Thanh pho mai trong tim ta, Huynh Loi with Ket tinh ban tro 50 nam .
The song Proud to be Vietnamese by musician Le Ba Thuong was awarded the most favorite song.




At the gala, the Mai Vang program's organizers visited the house to present a gift worth 20 million VND to help singer To Thanh Phuong continue her treatment. Singer To Thanh Phuong was born in 1961, from Ca Mau, and has won many major music awards.
The organizing committee of the "Country Full of Joy" songwriting campaign selected 50 typical songs to print as "Collection of 50 songs of the "Country Full of Joy" songwriting campaign".
The Lao Dong Newspaper donated books to the libraries of the following schools: University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Finance and Marketing, Cuu Long University, University of Law, Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology, University of Theater and Cinema, Ho Chi Minh City College of Culture and Arts, Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music.

In particular, during the gala, the audience had the opportunity to interact with famous musicians: Pham Minh Tuan, Tran Xuan Tien, Nguyen Van Chung, Mai Tram...
