Quynh Phu: Training on methods of screening poor and near-poor households

On the morning of August 16, the People's Committee of Quynh Phu district coordinated with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to organize a training conference on methods for reviewing and classifying poor and near-poor households; identifying households with average living standards periodically in 2023.

Officials from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs conveyed the contents at the conference.

During the 1-day period, more than 580 delegates who are members of the District Poverty Reduction Steering Committee; leaders, labor - invalids and social affairs officers, secretaries, village heads, and heads of residential groups of communes and towns in the district were guided on the implementation of Decree No. 07/2021/ND-CP stipulating multidimensional poverty standards for the period 2021-2025, focusing on the applicable subjects, criteria for measuring multidimensional poverty for the period 2022 - 2025 (income criteria, criteria for level of basic social service deprivation...); instructions from the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs on methods for reviewing and classifying poor and near-poor households; determining the income of households working in agriculture, forestry, fishery, and salt production with an average living standard in 2023... Processes, methods and forms in the process of implementing poverty reduction. Delegates also exchanged and discussed to remove some difficulties in the implementation process.
