Launch of the North Central Petroleum Association

Mr. Trinh Bao Ngoc - Director of Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company was assigned by the Vietnam Petroleum Association to hold the position of Chairman of the Provisional Executive Committee of the North Central Petroleum Association.

On the afternoon of August 24, the Vietnam Petroleum Association held a ceremony to present the decision and launch the North Central Petroleum Association. Chairman of the Vietnam Petroleum Association Nguyen Quoc Thap attended and directed.

On July 11, 2023, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Petroleum Association issued Decision No. 125/QD-HDKVN on the establishment of the North Central Petroleum Association.

Accordingly, the North Central Petroleum Association has a geographical scope from Thanh Hoa to Quang Binh; including 3 organizational members: Ha Tinh Petroleum Power Joint Stock Company, Hua Na Hydropower Joint Stock Company ( Nghe An ) and Vung Ang Petroleum Joint Stock Company.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Petroleum Association also appointed the Provisional Executive Committee of the North Central Petroleum Association, including Mr. Trinh Bao Ngoc - Director of Ha Tinh Petroleum Power Company as Chairman; Mr. Bui Huy Thanh - Director of Hua Na Hydropower Joint Stock Company and Mr. Hoang Nguyen Thanh - Director of Vung Ang Petroleum Joint Stock Company as members.

Chairman of Vietnam Petroleum Association Nguyen Quoc Thap presented the decision to establish the North Central Petroleum Association.

According to the decision, the General Secretary of the Association is assigned to direct and coordinate with the Provisional Executive Committee to draft the operating regulations of the North Central Petroleum Association; mobilize and admit new members and organize a congress to elect the Executive Committee of the Association before September 30, 2023.

Members of the North Central Petroleum Association have the duty to support each other, contribute to effective operations, and contribute to promoting the country's economic development.

In his congratulatory speech and assignment, Chairman of the Vietnam Petroleum Association Nguyen Quoc Thap hoped that the members of the Provisional Executive Committee of the North Central Petroleum Association would strive to fulfill their assigned tasks. In the immediate future, the main tasks will be to coordinate with the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Petroleum Association to draft and promulgate the association's operating regulations; organize the first congress to elect the official executive committee; mobilize and recruit new members.

In the long term, the Chairman of the Vietnam Petroleum Association hopes that the North Central Petroleum Association will make efforts, be creative, and successfully complete assigned tasks, contributing to building an increasingly strong Vietnam Petroleum Association.

New Chairman of the Interim Executive Committee of the North Central Petroleum Association Trinh Bao Ngoc gave a speech accepting the assignment.

Speaking at the ceremony, the new Chairman of the Interim Executive Committee of the North Central Petroleum Association, Trinh Bao Ngoc, emphasized: Being assigned by the Vietnam Petroleum Association to hold the position of Chairman of the Interim Executive Committee of the North Central Petroleum Association is both an honor and a responsibility. I, along with my comrades in the Executive Committee of the North Central Petroleum Association, will contribute, set an example, and be determined to fulfill the assigned tasks well. Strive to build a united, democratic, and creative collective to bring the movement activities of the North Central Petroleum Association to new and solid developments.

Before that, the delegates visited the units of Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant (belonging to Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company).
