Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Vietnam has just launched a 24/7 global health care insurance product, a comprehensive health care solution for customers and their families.

According to the Ministry of Health , the rate of out-of-pocket spending by Vietnamese households on medical examination and treatment remains high, accounting for 43% of total medical expenses (*).

In order to contribute to reducing the burden of medical costs and realizing the mission of caring for and protecting the lifelong health of customers and their families, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam has developed a 24/7 global health care insurance product with many outstanding features.

The outstanding advantages of the product include: Reasonable fees with high payment limits; Global coverage and a wide hospital fee guarantee system with nearly 280 medical facilities at home and abroad; Paying for room fees up to 6 million VND/day for regular rooms and according to actual costs for intensive care units (ICU), up to 100 days/year for each illness/injury, helping customers feel secure during prolonged treatment.

In particular, 24/7 global health insurance also expands the scope of protection for customers when treating cancer with immunotherapy and targeted therapies. The payment level can be up to 100 million VND/contract year, helping patients have access to modern treatment methods, increasing the ability to cure the disease.

On the occasion of the product launch, from November 1, 2024 to November 30, 2024, the company will launch the promotion program "Live happily, receive good gifts".

Customers will immediately receive a Kachi MK445 handheld massage device for each life insurance contract with 24/7 global health care insurance, and fully meet the conditions to receive gifts according to the program rules announced on the Dai-ichi-life website.

In addition, in November 2024, the company will launch the Dai-ichi Medic digital platform exclusively for hospitals/clinics to cooperate with the company on insurance participation assessment and insurance compensation guarantee services.

With Dai-ichi Medic's features for hospital fee guarantee service, guarantee decisions will be made quickly and efficiently based on an online platform, helping to optimize the experience and enhance customer satisfaction.

In the first 9 months of 2024, the company paid out more than VND3,400 billion in insurance benefits to more than 305,000 cases. Of which, health care insurance benefits, hospital support and accident benefits accounted for nearly VND1,100 billion.

To date, the company has paid nearly VND23,000 billion for over 2 million cases over the past 17 years, contributing to ensuring long-term social security for the Vietnamese people.

5 flexible options

The product is designed with 5 flexible options from Basic to Prosperous package, with maximum benefits for each illness/injury from 150 million VND to 2 billion VND, to meet diverse protection needs and financial capabilities of customers.

The age of eligibility for insurance is from 30 days old to 65 years old for Inpatient Benefits and from 30 days old to 60 years old for Outpatient Benefits and Dental Care Benefits.

Dai-ichi Life Vietnam protects customers up to 75 years old, through comprehensive health care benefits from inpatient treatment, day treatment, to emergency, surgery, cancer treatment, organ transplants...
