Artist Tu Long livestreams to sell agricultural products, customer orders 6 tons of ST25 rice

The program, with the participation of People's Artist Tu Long and MC Mai Phuong, KOC is one of the activities of the 2025 Vietnamese Agricultural Products Week, within the framework of the program summarizing 5 years of the campaign for Vietnamese people to prioritize using Vietnamese goods in the period 2021-2025.

Thousands of followers, closing orders

The livestream session selling ST25 rice at Trang Tien on TikTok Hello Vietnam channel, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the morning of October 25, attracted a large number of customers to "close orders" to buy ST25 rice.

In the program, three rice brands were introduced and sold, including ST25 Lua Tom, ST25 Ruong Ruoi and Dien Bien young harvest rice . Consumers who watched had the opportunity to buy products at special preferential prices, thanks to support policies from distributors and promotional programs.

Notably, the program has no purchase quantity limit and free shipping nationwide, helping consumers easily access high-quality Vietnamese rice products at attractive prices.

During the livestream session, artist Tu Long introduced Vietnam's famous ST25 rice product, promoted the rice brand image and invited customers to enjoy Vietnam's famous rice products to quickly "close the deal".

With the original price for a 10kg bag of rice being over 410,000 VND, the livestream session launched a program to stimulate consumption of discounted products to over 360,000 VND, attracting thousands of followers and many orders.

After about 2 hours of livestream, about 6 tons of rice were ordered and closed.

Promoting Vietnamese agricultural product brands

Having livestreamed to sell moon cakes, Mr. Tran Huu Linh - Director of the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development - said that livestreaming to connect agricultural product consumption is a new way, in line with the trend of digital commerce.

“Through this activity, we hope not only to spread the value of ST25 rice - the pride of Vietnamese rice, but also to contribute to bringing Vietnamese agricultural products closer to domestic consumers,” said Mr. Linh.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the 2025 Vietnamese Agricultural Products Week is an opportunity for localities to introduce and promote typical agricultural products, contributing to connecting supply and demand, promoting the consumption of Vietnamese goods and affirming the brand of Vietnamese agricultural products in the market.

Hundreds of unique agricultural products are introduced, creating a diverse and attractive display space, attracting a large number of people and tourists. The display area is arranged into 5 areas according to geographical regions.

34 localities, each province and city introduced a typical agricultural product of their own, reflecting the richness of the supply of Vietnamese agricultural products. Many products have affirmed their brands in the market such as Thai Nguyen tea, Hoa Binh oranges , Buon Ma Thuot coffee, Tay Nguyen honey, ST25 rice, and many other typical regional products. The display space contributes to promoting the image of Vietnamese agricultural products and promoting the connection between supply and demand.
