The livestream sale of ST25 rice at Trang Tien on the TikTok channel Hello Vietnam, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the morning of October 25th, attracted a large number of customers who placed orders for ST25 rice.
During the program, three rice brands were introduced and sold: ST25 Lúa Tôm, ST25 Ruộng Rươi, and Điện Biên young-harvested rice. Consumers watching had the opportunity to purchase these products at special discounted prices, thanks to support policies from distributors and promotional programs.
Notably, the program has no purchase limit and offers free nationwide shipping, making it easy for consumers to access high-quality Vietnamese rice products at attractive prices.
During the livestream, artist Tu Long introduced Vietnam's famous ST25 rice product, promoted the brand image, and invited customers to sample famous Vietnamese rice products to quickly "close the deal".
With the original price for a 10kg bag of rice being over 410,000 VND, the livestream offered a promotional program to boost sales, reducing the price to just over 360,000 VND, attracting thousands of viewers and numerous orders.
After about two hours of livestreaming, approximately 6 tons of rice had been ordered and confirmed by customers.
Promoting Vietnamese agricultural product brands.
Having previously livestreamed to sell mooncakes, Mr. Tran Huu Linh - Director of the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development - said that livestreaming to connect with consumers of agricultural products is a new approach, in line with the trend of digital commerce.
"Through this activity, we hope not only to spread the value of ST25 rice - the pride of Vietnamese rice - but also to contribute to bringing Vietnamese agricultural products closer to domestic consumers," Mr. Linh said.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Vietnam Agricultural Products Week 2025 is an opportunity for localities to introduce and promote their distinctive agricultural products, contributing to connecting supply and demand, boosting consumption of Vietnamese goods, and affirming the brand of Vietnamese agricultural products in the market.
Hundreds of unique agricultural products were showcased, creating a diverse and attractive exhibition space that drew large numbers of locals and tourists. The exhibition area was arranged into five sections according to geographical regions.
Thirty-four localities, each province and city, showcased a distinctive and representative agricultural product, reflecting the richness of Vietnam's agricultural supply. Many products have established their brands in the market, such as Thai Nguyen tea, Hoa Binh oranges, Buon Ma Thuot coffee, Central Highlands honey, ST25 rice, and many other regional specialties. The exhibition space contributed to promoting the image of Vietnamese agricultural products and fostering supply and demand connections.
