On the morning of May 8, Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy chaired a meeting to review and give opinions on the plan to organize a meeting to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day and to meet and honor exemplary journalists.

Accordingly, An Giang province organized a meeting between provincial leaders and representatives of press agencies inside and outside the province to review the glorious tradition, important and great contributions, and noble mission of the Vietnamese revolutionary press and An Giang province. Through the meeting, individuals and press agencies with many contributions to propaganda work about An Giang province were rewarded.

In addition, the province will organize visual propaganda and agitation activities; organize visits and congratulations to press agencies in An Giang province; organize art competitions for journalists in the province; and organize sports competitions to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy requested that the subcommittees coordinate with relevant departments and units to review the assigned tasks and promptly complete them according to their assigned functions and tasks; coordinate in the preparation work so that the event is organized solemnly and thoughtfully.
