Combat capability and rapid response
CyberRush is an in-depth technical competition, bringing together 20 cybersecurity experts from major technology and security organizations in Vietnam.
With its unique 'rush' format – each round lasting only 60 minutes – CyberRush requires contestants to analyze, react to, and handle real-world cyberattack scenarios within a limited time.
CMC Telecom sent four representatives, all young security experts, to participate in the competition: Nguyen Cong Thanh (tsuwu), Luu Minh Thang (al3x), Tran Phi Long (NotSunde), and Huynh Le Huu Phuoc (0xB16D4ddy).
With a score of 1,350, expert Nguyen Cong Thanh excellently won first place in the Credential Rush round.
The competition round requires contestants to solve a series of practical problems such as: Detecting misconfigurations in cloud infrastructure; Implementing credential harvesting techniques on traditional networks and cloud environments; Applying advanced techniques such as password dumping, password spraying, and credential shuffling; Exploiting vulnerabilities in authentication systems and cloud services.
This victory not only demonstrates excellent technical skills but also showcases the ability to react quickly, assess risks, and respond flexibly to complex attack situations – consistent with the safe operating philosophy that the company applies to its digital infrastructure protection systems for thousands of corporate clients.

Experts regularly face simulated multi-layered attack scenarios, which helps them hone their reflexes, update their skills, and master new technologies. Not only did they achieve individual victories, but all four representatives from CMC Telecom also made it into the Top 5 overall, affirming the consistent strength of their internal security team.
These are experts who have been directly operating, monitoring, and responding to cybersecurity risks for clients every day in demanding real-world environments.
The company's security team holds a range of international certifications such as: CISA, CISM, CRISC... - certifications in risk management and security strategy; OSCP, OSCE, OSEP, OSCE3 - certifications specializing in attack and vulnerability exploitation; CREST - a globally recognized certification for security testing capabilities.
Notably, the company has many experts who are consistently honored on Apple's global Hall of Fame – a list recognizing individuals who discover and disclose security vulnerabilities that have a significant impact on the Apple ecosystem.
