Red team CMC Telecom won at CyberRush 2025

At the CyberRush 2025 competition within the framework of the Vietnam Security Summit event, the team of experts from CMC Telecom won first prize in the Credential Rush round.

Combat capability and quick response

CyberRush is a technical playground, gathering 20 cybersecurity experts from major technology and security organizations in Vietnam.

With a unique 'rush' competition format - each round only lasts 60 minutes, CyberRush requires contestants to analyze, react and handle real cyber attack situations within a limited time.

To participate in the competition, CMC Telecom sent 4 representatives who are young security experts: Nguyen Cong Thanh (tsuwu), Luu Minh Thang (al3x), Tran Phi Long (NotSunde) and Huynh Le Huu Phuoc (0xB16D4ddy).

With a score of 1,350, expert Nguyen Cong Thanh excellently won the championship of the Credential Rush round.

The round requires candidates to solve a series of practical problems such as: Detecting misconfigurations in Cloud infrastructure; Deploying credential harvesting techniques on traditional networks and Cloud environments; Applying advanced techniques such as password dumping, password spraying, credential shuffling; Exploiting vulnerabilities in authentication systems and cloud services.

This victory not only demonstrates excellent technical skills, but also demonstrates the ability to react quickly, assess risks and respond flexibly in complex attack situations - in line with the safe operating philosophy that the company is applying to the digital infrastructure protection systems of thousands of corporate customers.
