On the evening of April 26, a series of cultural and sports activities with the theme of Uncle Ho's City continued to be held at Nguyen Hue Walking Street (HCMC), with many unique art performances, attracting a large number of viewers. This program is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), taking place from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on April 19, 26, 29 and 30.
Along Nguyen Hue walking street, many stages with performances of traditional music and dance, traditional art, contemporary art, traditional martial arts, lion and dragon dances... are performed, creating a bustling and exciting cultural and artistic space, attracting a large number of people and tourists to watch.
The event gathered many art units: City Art Center, Bong Sen Folk Music and Dance Theater, City Opera Theater... with thousands of artisans, singers, artists, actors, and dancers. The program is a blend of music , performance, light and unique images, with the intersection between Vietnamese folk music resonating and blending with the colors of modern electronic music.

The outdoor stage is carefully staged, decorated with many masks typical of the art of hát bội.
The dance performance of the ball is performed by dancer Bao Bao and the dance group. This is a unique traditional folk performing art form of the Southern people. Born about 300 years ago, through ups and downs, this art form is still preserved and promoted.

The Bong Sen Traditional Music and Dance Theater has many performances that combine contemporary music with traditional instruments, creating a unique cultural and artistic space. The performances are elaborately staged, bringing the audience to experience diverse "colors", from traditional Southern melodies with rich identity, to modern, vibrant performances.
Despite the rain, the audience still patiently stayed to wait and watch the performance. Everyone was excited and continuously clapped to support the artists.

The artists wore traditional costumes, Ao Ba Ba, combined with checkered scarves to perform many acts imbued with Vietnamese culture.

At the same time, in front of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee building, there were also fresh and exciting rhythms like a bright greeting from the city named after Uncle Ho to friends from all over the world. The performance of Hello My Dream City - My Road was responded to by the audience singing along.

In addition to cultural, artistic and sports activities, thematic exhibitions and public film screenings taking place on Nguyen Hue walking street bring special experiences to residents and visitors, contributing to spreading the message of patriotism, honoring historical, cultural and revolutionary values and introducing the proud achievements of the city's construction and development process.
The series of activities "Colors of Uncle Ho's City" is an opportunity for Ho Chi Minh City to proudly introduce to domestic and international friends a dynamic, creative, and unique urban area, where national spirit and aspirations for the future converge.
