On the afternoon of December 15, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nghe An coordinated with the People's Committee of Thanh Chuong district to organize the Ceremony to announce and award the Certificate of organic orange products to Ngoc Huong Organic Orange Farm (Thanh Duc commune, Thanh Chuong district).

Certificate issued by TQC CGLOBAL Testing and Certification Center, under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations.

Ngoc Huong organic orange farm has a total area of 5 hectares, with an average annual output of about 50 tons, produced using organic farming methods, completely without using chemical fertilizers and pesticides.

According to the assessment results of the authorities, the organic orange products of Ngoc Huong Farm meet Vietnam's organic agriculture standards and are granted an Organic Orange Certificate according to the provisions of Decree No. 109, dated August 29, 2028 of the Government on organic agriculture.

Speaking at the Ceremony to announce and award the Organic Orange Certificate to Ngoc Huong Organic Orange Farm, Chairman of Thanh Chuong District People's Committee - Mr. Trinh Van Nha emphasized: In addition to focusing on directing, guiding, and supporting farmers in producing and creating organic agricultural products, local Party committees and authorities at all levels also accompany farmers in connecting and bringing products to the market, to spread Thanh Chuong organic products to domestic and foreign markets. In addition to Ngoc Huong Organic Orange Farm meeting standards and being certified for organic orange products, previously, Dr. Khanh Orange Farm was also granted a Certificate of organic orange products meeting standards by the authorities.

With the advantage of diverse soil and agricultural products, along with the diligence and hard work of farmers, Thanh Chuong district has been focusing on promoting production according to organic and safe agriculture with identified key products: oranges, grapefruits, and organic tea.

Currently, in addition to the two orange farms that have been granted organic product certificates, the district also has Thanh My grapefruit products, sugar grapefruit in Thanh Thinh commune and a number of other products that have applied organic production methods, both meeting the needs of people for safe food consumption, contributing to soil improvement and environmental protection, the health of producers; increasing the value of agricultural products.
