On the afternoon of December 15th, the Nghe An Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in coordination with the Thanh Chuong District People's Committee, held a ceremony to announce and award the Certificate of Organic Orange Product to Ngoc Huong Organic Orange Farm (Thanh Duc commune, Thanh Chuong district).
The certificate is issued by TQC CGLOBAL Testing and Certification Center, under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations.

Ngoc Huong Organic Orange Farm covers a total area of 5 hectares, with an average annual yield of approximately 50 tons. The oranges are produced using organic farming methods, completely free of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
According to the assessment results of the relevant authorities, the organic oranges from Ngoc Huong Farm meet the Vietnamese organic agriculture standards and have been granted an organic orange certificate in accordance with Government Decree No. 109, dated August 29, 2028, on organic agriculture.

Besides Ngoc Huong Organic Orange Farm, which meets and is certified as an organic orange product, Dr. Khanh's Orange Farm had previously also been granted a certificate of organic orange product by the authorities.
With its diverse soil and agricultural products, coupled with the diligence and hard work of its farmers, Thanh Chuong district has been focusing on promoting organic and safe agricultural production, with key products identified as organic oranges, pomelos, and tea.

Currently, in addition to the two orange farms that have been granted organic product certificates, the district also has Thanh My pomelo, sugar pomelo in Thanh Thinh commune, and several other products that have applied organic production methods. This meets the demand for safe and hygienic food consumption, contributes to soil improvement and environmental protection, and safeguards the health of producers, thereby increasing the value of agricultural products.
