OCOP product "Golden Flower Tea" is supported with 60 million VND

BAC GIANG - The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province has just issued Decision No. 467/QD-UBND on supporting and encouraging the development of OCOP products in the province to be recognized as 4-star in 2024 (phase 2).

According to the decision, the province supports 60 million VND for the OCOP product "Golden Flower Tea" of Truong Son High-Tech Medicinal Cooperative (Nhan Ly Village, Truong Son Commune, Luc Nam District). The content of supporting the development of OCOP products in the province is recognized as 4 stars in 2024 according to Resolution No. 67/2023/NQ-HDND dated December 13, 2023 of the People's Council of Bac Giang province.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to carry out support procedures for the Truong Son High-Tech Medicinal Cooperative according to regulations. The recognized cooperative needs to maintain quality according to the regulations of the OCOP Program, continue to standardize recognized products, continue to maintain and upgrade products to achieve higher star ratings.

It is known that the Golden Flower Tea product of Truong Son High-Tech Medicinal Cooperative has just been recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as a 4-star OCOP product according to Decision No. 263/QD-UBND dated March 19, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on approving the results of evaluation, classification and certification of products of the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program of Bac Giang province, phase 2, 2024. This is one of the typical products of Luc Nam district and is recognized as a key product, a potential characteristic of the province. It is known that by the end of 2024, the whole province has 415 OCOP products, of which 1 is a national 5-star product, 20 are 4-star products, and the remaining 394 products are 3-star. According to the OCOP Program Implementation Plan in 2025, the whole province has 323 products participating in the OCOP product classification assessment. Of which, 237 new products participated in the assessment, 75 products were re-assessed, 11 products were upgraded to star level; 153 economic organizations proposed support for the management of product brands, packaging, and labels.
