On the morning of April 26, SJC gold bar prices were listed by businesses such as SJC, PNJ, DOJI at 118.5 million VND/tael for buying and 120.5 million VND/tael for selling - down 1 million VND/tael compared to yesterday morning.
Compared to the historical peak, the price of gold bars is about 3.5 million VND/tael lower. The difference between buying and selling prices has been narrowed by businesses to 2 million VND/tael.
The price of 99.99% gold rings and jewelry gold traded by businesses is around 113.5 million VND/tael for buying and 116 million VND/tael for selling, also down 1 million VND/tael.
However, the price of SJC gold bars is still far higher than the price of 99.99 gold rings and the world price. Currently, the price of SJC gold bars is about 4.5 million VND/tael higher than that of gold rings.
Gold bar prices have leveled off in the past two days, after many days of strong fluctuations.
In the international market, gold prices fluctuated wildly. At 9:00 a.m., Vietnam time, gold was trading at $3,316/ounce, down about $30/ounce compared to the previous session.
According to analysts, the resurgence of the US dollar has put downward pressure on gold prices. At the same time, factors such as the developments in negotiations regarding US-China tariff policies have reflected in the increase in gold prices in recent days.
Compared to the record peak of 3,500 USD/ounce, the gold price has now decreased by about 180 USD/ounce (-5.4%).
Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 104.8 million VND/tael, lower than the price of SJC gold rings and gold bars by 11-15 million VND/tael.
