This morning, 4,851 students took the aptitude test (duration 90 minutes) at 7 gathering points in District 1 and District 3, to be admitted to grade 6 of Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School for the 2025-2026 school year.

Mr. Nguyen Bao Quoc, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, said that the structure of the 6th grade test at Tran Dai Nghia School this year is stable as last year.

Specifically, the content of the 6th grade competency assessment test at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School will include 2 parts: multiple choice and essay with a test time of 90 minutes to assess the ability to use English and Vietnamese; mathematics and logical thinking; natural sciences; social sciences: history and geography; and common sense of life.

• Multiple choice section: Includes 20 questions in English. Time limit: 30 minutes. This section includes questions about natural sciences, social sciences, and common sense.
• Essay section: Candidates take the test in 60 minutes, testing English proficiency: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, writing. Candidates take the test in English.

Also in the essay section, candidates will take the test in Vietnamese in the section testing mathematical and logical thinking abilities, reading comprehension and writing abilities.

It is expected that on June 22, the Department of Education and Training will announce the results of the 6th grade survey.

With 4,851 students registering for grade 6 admission to Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School for the 2025-2026 school year, the target is 350 students, so the competition ratio to enter this school is about 1/14, higher than last year (competition ratio 1/12).
