On the afternoon of September 21, a representative of the People's Committee of Ninh An commune (Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province) provided initial information about a labor accident involving a collapsed concrete floor and scaffolding that occurred in the area, killing two people.
Accordingly, at around 3:00 p.m. the same day, a steel frame house construction project in Xuan Mai village (Ninh An commune) was under construction and had just finished pouring concrete when the scaffolding supporting the concrete floor collapsed, crushing 4 workers below. As a result, 2 people died and 2 were injured and had to be hospitalized.
Immediately after the incident, local authorities, functional units of Hoa Lu district and Ninh Binh Provincial Police were present at the scene to conduct rescue and clarify the cause.
