There will be 720 delegates attending the 11th National Military Emulation Congress.

On the morning of September 17, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army introduced the 11th Emulation Congress for the 2020-2025 period under the chairmanship of Major General Nguyen Xuan Thuy, Deputy Director of the Department of Propaganda and Training, General Department of Politics.

According to Major General Nguyen Xuan Thuy, the 11th Emulation Congress for the entire army, term 2020 - 2025, has the theme of promoting the heroic tradition and noble qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" and the entire army competing to build a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern army, firmly protecting the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam, and walking steadily with the country in the era of strong, prosperous, civilized, and happy development.

The Congress will have the participation of 720 delegates, taking place on September 24, with many meaningful activities: Ceremony to report achievements to Uncle Ho, visit President Ho Chi Minh and lay flowers in memory of heroes and martyrs; Exchange program, commendation of advanced models; Youth gala to celebrate the success of the Congress...

The official session of the Congress will be televised and broadcast live from the Ministry of National Defense Hall with the participation and direction speech of General Secretary To Lam - Secretary of the Central Military Commission.

There will be 6 advanced models reported to the Congress. On this occasion, the Emulation and Reward Council of the Ministry of National Defense will also summarize the emulation movement for the period of 2020 - 2025, award the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of National Defense to 84 collectives, and award Certificates of Merit of the Minister of National Defense to 151 collectives and 158 individuals.

Speaking at the press conference, Colonel Nguyen Nhu Thuong, Head of the Special Department of the Military Radio and Television Center, said: In the series of activities of the 11th National Victory Emulation Congress, there will be a typical advanced exchange program "The Stars of Victory" broadcast live on the Vietnam National Defense Television Channel, with a duration of 90 minutes. The program aims to honor collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the National Victory Emulation Movement for the period 2020 - 2025; to propagate, disseminate, build and replicate typical advanced models.

The program also contributes to educating the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Army, patriotism, national pride, self-reliance, self-improvement of officers and soldiers of the entire army, striving to excellently complete their tasks. The program's form of expression is to introduce outstanding collectives and individuals of the "Determined to Win" emulation movement in many different forms such as reports, dramatization, exchanges... interspersed with comprehensive reports are art performances.

Also according to Major General Nguyen Xuan Thuy, on September 29, the 12th Congress of the Military Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, will open.
