Massive year-end music shows
According to Giao Thong Newspaper's investigation, in the last three months of the year, more than 40 music shows have been announced and scheduled, with many diverse topics.
In October, there are some outstanding shows such as: Concert Anh trai vu ngan cong gai and Anh trai say hi (October 19), Museum of regret (Vu, October 12 and 26), mini show Hoang hon ruc ro (Hoang Hai, October 18)...

Previously, musician Duc Tri completed the live concert Duc Tri - Co doi lan in Ho Chi Minh City (October 5). After the live concert Skynote - Thien Thanh in Hanoi on October 12-13, Quoc Thien continued to bring the concert to Da Lat on November 2.
Coming up, the live show Tung Duong - The singing man by divo Tung Duong will also be held in Hanoi on November 23. Also this month, Hong Nhung will perform the concert Hong Nhung sings about Hanoi on the evening of November 30 in Hanoi.

Tickets sell well despite not being cheap
Besides the old faces, a series of new artists who grew up after music game shows or "underground" activities are trying to join the game.

There were a lot of live shows, but ticket prices were also higher than in previous years, ranging from 500,000 VND - 5 million VND, even 10 million VND/ticket. Most of the shows sold out in a short time, some shows had very few tickets left.
For example, the Museum of Regret concert in Ho Chi Minh City currently only has tickets priced at 599,000 VND, and all categories priced from 799,000 - 999,000 VND are sold out. The concert Anh trai vu ngan cong gai sold out after only 90 minutes of opening, with ticket prices ranging from 1,800,000 VND - 8 million VND/ticket.
Assessing the excitement of the music market in the last months of the year, director Long Kan said that this is a good sign: "After more than two years of the pandemic and a year of economic recovery, the music market has officially become vibrant again, and audiences have more spiritual food to enjoy. This shows that artists are still constantly creating and the demand for entertainment in Vietnam is huge."
Finding the solution for the "sold out" show
"Sold-out" concerts are not uncommon in recent years. However, when the market is saturated and the audience's aesthetic taste is increasingly high, how to attract the audience and sell tickets is still a headache for producers.

Singer Ngoc Cham, Director of the Golden Age Arts Center, said that ticket sales are facing many difficulties in the last months of the year.
"Small and medium-sized shows have a chance to win, the bigger the show, the more difficult it is," the singer commented.
That's why this year she doesn't organize as many events as every year, but focuses her resources on her personal live show at the end of the year.
Realizing that the market is fiercely competitive, directly affecting ticket sales, for this live show, Ngoc Cham decided to invest in the quality of the mixes, instead of an overly grand and expensive stage.
The end of the year is the time when units, companies, groups, etc. often need to buy tickets to give to partners and employees.
This is also the time when individuals have more money available, so they can easily withdraw their wallets to buy tickets.
Therefore, units with a customer base of businesses and organizations will certainly have many opportunities to sell tickets.
However, in the current context, the unit has advantages and effectively utilizes communication, image and ticket marketing through KOLs and KOCs, ticket sales will certainly bring positive results.

Director Long Kan affirmed that there is no specific budget for a music show, nor is there a general formula for a "sold-out" music night.
However, he believes that a successful music show is one that is invested in thoroughly and has creative content.
In addition to the singer's popularity and the song's popularity, the music show must satisfy sound and visual requirements by combining performance technology.
Besides the artist's voice, the most important thing for a complete music night lies in the construction of a consistent artistic idea, stage design, lighting, music playing, choreography... to ensure unity and harmony.
"In other words, the program must both ensure its uniqueness and get closer to international quality standards. From there, it highlights the individuality and uniqueness of the artist," director Long Kan analyzed.
Commenting on the script for the year-end music show market, director Long Kan admitted that this is a problem that all professionals want to find a solution to. However, this is still a difficult problem to predict as it depends on many different factors.
"However, I believe that if this year's music shows are well received, 2025 will continue to be a boom year.
In particular, with their appeal, recent music and reality TV shows have introduced new names, people who are not yet known to many audiences and need to assert themselves. And that path can only be achieved through personal live shows," director Long Kan expressed.
