The cooperation agreement was signed by Associate Professor Dr. Tran Dinh Nha - Vice Rector of Chu Van An University and Mr. Denis Thuriot, Mayor of Nevers City, creating the foundation for a strategic partnership between Vietnameseeducational institutions and French local authorities.
The city of Nevers is a growing economic , educational and medical centre in France and is in urgent need of a young, well-trained workforce in key areas such as Law, Business Administration, Information Technology and Medicine.
Chu Van An University was established on June 8, 2006, with the mission of comprehensively serving the new generation of Vietnamese people to affirm its brand that can be on par with universities in the region and internationally in terms of teaching and learning environment, scale and training quality; in terms of scientific research and technology transfer, it is a reliable address in the choice of learners.

The highlight of the agreement is that the city of Nevers will give priority to training students who wish to work locally after graduation. This is a rare opportunity for Vietnamese students to access an international educational and working environment in the fields of Law, Business Administration, Information Technology and Health.
The cooperation program does not stop at training but also extends to scientific research. The two sides will jointly implement research projects, organize scientific seminars, and create opportunities for lecturers and students to exchange academic knowledge.
The city of Nevers is committed to providing scholarships and supporting students to do internships at local businesses and agencies. At the same time, the city will also support equipment, learning and research materials for Chu Van An University.
With Nevers being a city with developed healthcare, education and commercial economy, this cooperation will help Chu Van An students access valuable experiences from the European development model. Conversely, the city of Nevers also has a need to develop high-quality human resources in the fields where the school has strengths. The agreement complies with the laws of both countries, based on the principles of equality, mutual benefit and information confidentiality.
Mr. Denis Thuriot - mayor of the city said that the city of Nevers wishes to increase cultural and educational exchanges with Vietnam, while creating opportunities for Vietnamese students to integrate and develop their careers in France.
