Previously, from September 22 to September 26, 65 students at all three levels at V. School (Long Binh Ward) showed unusual symptoms such as stomachache, vomiting, diarrhea... and had to stay home from school.
The common point of these children is that they ate bread sold around their residential area (apartment) and school. Among them, 8 children were admitted to several hospitals for treatment, diagnosed with gastrointestinal infections. In addition to the students, some parents also showed symptoms of suspected food poisoning.
According to the leader of Thu Duc Regional Medical Center, because the incident started on September 22, taking samples of suspected food is almost worthless.
The incident has been reported to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety. The authorities have been monitoring and promptly taking investigative measures.
