Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology and Dan Tri newspaper co-organized the workshop "Implementing ESG with AI"

(Dan Tri) - On the afternoon of August 14, the workshop “Implementing ESG with AI, what should businesses do?” will officially take place in Ho Chi Minh City. Many important contents will be discussed at the workshop.

Following the success of the first Vietnam ESG Forum, Dan Tri newspaper continues to organize the Vietnam ESG Forum 2025 with the theme " Science and technology and driving force for sustainable development".

The theme of this year's Forum is considered to be in line with the spirit of Resolution 57 of the Politburo , which is to take science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation as the driving force for development.

Within the framework of the forum, Dan Tri newspaper, with the co-participation of the Department of Science and Technology (KH&CN) of Ho Chi Minh City, organized a workshop on "Implementing ESG with AI, what should businesses do?". The Organizing Committee of the Vietnam ESG Forum said that AI is a trend in the context of increasingly developing science and technology. The legal corridor, regulatory framework for AI application in ESG implementation, the current status of application in corporate governance, the results achieved, how to measure effectiveness... will be the issues shared by speakers at the workshop.

With the participation of speakers who are leading experts in ESG, digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI) and pioneering business leaders in Vietnam, the workshop will bring practical perspectives and clear strategies to the business community that is striving to integrate ESG into business operations.

At the workshop, speakers will analyze and discuss in depth many practical topics, revolving around the relationship between artificial intelligence (AI) and ESG in the context of Vietnamese enterprises striving to transform towards sustainable development.

The workshop will decode the concept of "AI in ESG" - clarifying how AI can support businesses to effectively implement goals related to environment (E), society (S) and governance (G). From there, speakers will share practical lessons from domestic businesses that have implemented ESG using technology, pointing out common difficulties, common mistakes and ways to overcome them.

Another important topic is the roadmap for implementing ESG using technology, especially for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) - a group that often faces many barriers in terms of resources. The workshop will also analyze the role of AI in data transparency and improving the effectiveness of ESG reporting - a factor that is increasingly of interest to investors and international partners.

The problem of balancing technology investment costs and ESG efficiency will also be dissected, to help businesses find cost-effective solutions while still ensuring high ESG standards are met.

Experts will also make specific recommendations on policies and building an ecosystem to support businesses - where management agencies, technology solution providers and financial institutions need to play a connecting and accompanying role to promote ESG into practice in a sustainable and effective manner.
