Department of Home Affairs dialogues to remove administrative procedure obstacles and resolve administrative procedures

Speaking at the program, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Mai Xuan Truong emphasized: The dialogue conference with individuals and organizations on administrative procedures is an important annual activity, aiming to promote the role of people's supervision and criticism, and at the same time is a forum for the Department of Home Affairs to listen to and receive comments, feedback and recommendations from agencies, organizations and enterprises serving socio-economic development in the capital related to administrative procedures in the areas under its management.

According to Mr. Mai Xuan Truong, in recent times, with the determination to reform administration, build a service-oriented administration, focusing on people and businesses, the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs has made efforts to implement many practical solutions such as: Simplifying administrative procedures, enhancing information technology, improving the quality of civil servants, aiming to build a modern, transparent and effective administration. By synchronously implementing many solutions to improve the effectiveness of administrative reform, applying information technology in handling administrative procedures, the Department of Home Affairs has contributed to improving the quality and efficiency of serving the people, which has been recognized by many organizations and individuals.

However, in addition to the achieved results, Mr. Mai Xuan Truong also frankly acknowledged that there are still difficulties and obstacles in the process of handling administrative procedures. Therefore, through the dialogue conference, the Department of Home Affairs hopes that individuals and representatives of organizations will exchange and share frankly and openly, thereby promptly removing shortcomings, continuing to perfect the process, improving service quality, and better meeting the needs of people and businesses in the capital.

Within the framework of the program, representatives of the Department of Home Affairs and leaders of functional departments and agencies, and managers listened to, discussed, answered, and resolved problems of citizens, organizations, and businesses regarding administrative procedures and handling of administrative procedures under the authority of the Department.

Many opinions from organizations, individuals, and businesses raised difficulties in managing and licensing foreign workers to work in the city, sending Vietnamese people to work abroad, registering labor regulations of enterprises, granting licenses for labor leasing activities, revoking licenses for labor leasing activities, establishing collective bargaining councils, etc. Along with that are administrative procedures in the fields of unemployment benefits, vocational training support, job search, meritorious people, associations, non-governmental organizations, gender equality, youth, etc.

At the end of the program, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Mai Xuan Truong pledged to fully absorb the opinions at the conference, review, adjust and recommend competent authorities to remove obstacles, thereby creating an important basis for advising the city to continue to innovate more strongly in administrative procedure reform in the coming time. Mr. Mai Xuan Truong affirmed that the Department of Home Affairs will strengthen inspection and supervision, promote the application of information technology and improve administrative procedures in the direction of "3 reductions": Reducing time, reducing costs and reducing unnecessary contact.
