Exciting 2025 Workers - Farmers - Soldiers Music and Dance Festival in Duong Kinh District

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of May 9, at the Administrative - Political Center of Duong Kinh District, the People's Committee of Duong Kinh District organized the 2025 Workers - Farmers - Soldiers Music and Dance Festival. This is a key cultural activity of the district, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 71st anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2025), the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025), the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), and at the same time responding to the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong in 2025. Attending the program were representatives of the city's departments and branches; Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Duong Kinh District; with a large number of officers, soldiers of the armed forces, workers, teachers, students and people in the area.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Vice Chairman of Duong Kinh District People's Committee Nguyen Tri Nhan affirmed: In recent years, along with socio -economic development, the district has always focused on cultural development, preserving and promoting traditional values, promoting mass cultural movements, contributing to building a rich and healthy spiritual life for the people. The festival is an opportunity for the workers, farmers and soldiers in the area to express their feelings and responsibilities to their homeland and country through elaborate and creative music and dance performances.

This year's festival program has the participation of more than 250 non-professional actors from 6 wards, armed forces units, businesses andeducational institutions in the district. The performances are selected from the grassroots, vividly reflecting the love for the homeland and country, praising the Party, Uncle Ho, and the aspiration to rise up to build the city and Duong Kinh district to develop more and more.

One of the highlights of the festival was the performance “Vung duong mot kei son song” performed by the teachers and students of Anh Dung Primary School. The performance was imbued with patriotism, expressing pride in the nation’s history of building and defending the country. It was elaborately staged, with a harmonious combination of music , lyrics and stage art, creating strong emotions in the hearts of the audience.
