According to a VNA reporter in Havana, photos of the faithful and steadfast relationship between Cuba and Vietnam were prominently displayed in a photo exhibition organized by the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs on October 21 at the José Martí National Library in Havana, to celebrate the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Cuba and seven Asian countries, including Vietnam, Cambodia, India, North Korea, Indonesia, China and Mongolia.
Speaking at the opening of the photo exhibition, with the participation of Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, local officials and the diplomatic corps, on behalf of 7 Asian countries, Cambodian Ambassador to Cuba Chea Thireak emphasized that over the past 65 years, Asian countries have maintained friendship and close cooperation with Cuba in all fields: diplomatic, political , economic, educational, scientific and cultural cooperation.
In the current context, when the world is facing numerous difficulties, countries need to strengthen diplomatic relations, solidarity and cooperation.

Meanwhile, Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Anayansi Rodríguez highlighted the significance of the photo exhibition by evoking highlights in relations with Asian countries at the event, countries with which the Cuban Government decided to establish diplomatic relations in 1960.
Deputy Minister Rodríguez called for further consolidation of the history of brotherhood and solidarity, based on the solid foundation of the long legacy of 65 years of exemplary relations with these Asian countries.
Speaking about the Cuba-Vietnam relationship, Deputy Minister Rodríguez affirmed that this is a loyal and steadfast relationship between two countries, two brotherly peoples and a symbol of international solidarity.
Following the speeches, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez cut the ribbon to open the photo exhibition “65 years of relations between Cuba and Vietnam, Cambodia, India, North Korea, Indonesia, China and Mongolia.”

The space displaying photos about Cuba-Vietnam relations attracted the attention of many guests at the event.
Cuba and Vietnam officially established diplomatic relations on December 2, 1960.
Over the past 65 years, the relationship of solidarity, special friendship and comprehensive cooperation has always been consolidated and nurtured through delegation exchanges at all levels, economic, trade, investment, tourism, education, cultural, sports and people-to-people cooperation.../.
