At Km949+700, through Dien Minh commune, Dien Ban town, Quang Nam province, the above truck collided with a truck with license plate 92H 008.06 running in the opposite direction.
The strong collision caused truck 92H-009.46 to block the road. Next, a series of trucks with license plates 43C 211.62, 43C 142.08 and 43C 13650 could not stop in time and collided with the two vehicles in the accident.
The multi-vehicle accident damaged all 5 vehicles and injured 1 person. Traffic in the area was jammed for 2 hours.
According to records, the location of the accident is a straight road, with a longitudinal slope of 2%, a road with 2 lanes, no median strip, outside a densely populated area and with an effective system of signs and paint lines.
Two weeks ago, in Gia Lai province, there was also a series of traffic accidents that caused three trucks to catch fire.
According to authorities, at about 2:15 a.m. the same day, a truck carrying fresh noodles driven by Tran Van Nho (60 years old, residing in Tuy Phuoc district, Binh Dinh province) was traveling from Cho Glong commune to Yang Trung commune, Kong Chro district.

When the car reached km 349+400 of Truong Son Dong road (in Ba Co slope area, Yang Trung commune), it collided with a car pulling a trailer carrying construction iron driven by Tran Quang Vinh (42 years old, residing in Cam Le district, Da Nang city) traveling in the opposite direction.
Then, the two cars continued to crash into a cement truck driven by Bui Van Ty (23 years old, residing in Tay Son district, Binh Dinh province), causing all three vehicles to burst into flames.
Driver Tran Van Nho was trapped in the cabin. Locals had to break the car door and take him to the emergency room. By 4am the same day, the fire was completely extinguished after the efforts of the fire police. However, the cabins of the 3 trucks were burned down, with initial property damage estimated at over 2.5 billion VND.
