Temporarily determined that the valedictorian of this year's 10th grade exam is a female student in Cam Giang

That is Nguyen Thi Anh Ngoc, a student at Nguyen Hue Secondary School (Cam Giang) with a total of 46.3 points (math 9.75, literature 8.5 and English 9.8).

Nguyen Thi Anh Ngoc, a student at Nguyen Hue Secondary School (Cam Giang) is temporarily the valedictorian of the three common entrance exams for grade 10 in the 2023-2024 school year.

Out of more than 20,600 candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2023-2024 school year, there was one student who excelled and achieved the highest score in the 3 general exams and was temporarily the valedictorian of this year because the exam review period was still in progress.

That is Nguyen Thi Anh Ngoc, a student at Nguyen Hue Secondary School (Cam Giang) with a total of 46.3 points (math 9.75, literature 8.5 and English 9.8). Coming in second is Nguyen Tuan Duong, a student at Chu Van An Secondary School (Chi Linh) with 46 points (math 9.75, literature 8.25 and English 10). Coming in third is Nguyen Thuy Duong, a student at Nguyen Luong Bang Secondary School (Thanh Mien) with 45.9 points. All three students took the exam at the examination council of Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted.

In addition, out of the total number of candidates, 18 students scored 10 points in math, 92 students scored 10 points in English. In literature, 2 students had the highest score of 9 points.

In the exam for 8 specialized subjects to enter Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted: in math, 1 student had the highest score of 10 points; in chemistry, 2 students had the highest score of 9.5 points; in English, 1 student had the highest score of 9 points; in geography, 8.75 points; in literature, 1 student had the highest score of 8 points; in biology, 2 students had the highest score of 8.25 points; in history, 1 student had the highest score of 7 points; in physics, 1 student had the highest score of 6.75 points.

From June 14-16, candidates will submit an application for a review of their exam results (if any). From June 19-21, the Departmentof Education and Training will organize a review of their exam results (if any). The expected admission scores for the first choice will be announced on June 24.
