Strengthening state management of tourist areas and spots

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document requesting departments, branches and localities to strengthen state management in the tourism sector, after the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported on the situation of law compliance in coastal tourist areas and spots.

Accordingly, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will take the lead in guiding business units to complete the dossier for recognition of Provincial Tourist Spots and Tourist Areas according to the provisions of Decree 168/2017/ND-CP. At the same time, monitor and inspect the law enforcement of tourist areas and spots and advise on proposals under the authority of the Provincial People's Committee.

Departments such as Finance, Agriculture and Environment, Construction, and Provincial Police are assigned to guide procedures on investment, environment, construction, security, fire prevention and fighting... for tourist areas and spots. Localities need to speed up the progress of 1/2000 zoning planning in the project area of ​​tourist areas and spots and guide implementation in accordance with approved planning.
