Some common forms warned include: impersonating law enforcement agencies and the military; recruiting collaborators on e-commerce platforms; borrowing money online; hijacking social network accounts to impersonate acquaintances and commit financial fraud. Worryingly, the subjects often use psychological manipulation to lure victims to appropriate property.

Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Nguyen Viet Tien - Deputy Head of the Department of Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention introduced new fraud methods and tricks along with identification and prevention solutions, while emphasizing the importance of ensuring network safety and security in theeducational environment.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Phan Duc Thai - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training requested heads of units and schools to continue to promote propaganda and dissemination of the law to all cadres, teachers, employees and students. The key contents include: identifying methods and tricks of fraud and appropriation of assets online; protecting personal data; strictly complying with regulations on network security; and at the same time, raising vigilance against acts of taking advantage of high technology to commit illegal acts.

Lam Dong Province Education Department identifies the dissemination and raising awareness of network security as a regular and urgent task. In the context of increasingly sophisticated cybercrime, using technologies such as AI, ChatGPT, and social networks to exploit legal loopholes, the entire sector needs to enhance the provision of information security knowledge to officials, teachers, and students.
