Strengthening investment and labor promotion in Long An province and Okayama city, Japan

Speaking at the welcome ceremony, Mr. Matsuda Hisashi - Chairman of the Okayama City Industry and Commerce Association said that he was very pleased to welcome the Long An province delegation. In 2023, the Long An province delegation also visited Okayama city and signed a Memorandum of Understanding; in April 2024, the Okayama City Industry and Commerce Association delegation also visited a number of production facilities and was very impressed with the development potential and infrastructure of Long An International Port. He believes that in the coming time, Long An will develop rapidly and hopes to have many exchanges like this through various cooperation connection channels.

Currently, the labor situation in Japan is in shortage, while Long An province has a young and skilled labor force; therefore, in the coming time, we really need the support of Long An province leaders and businesses sending workers to work in Japan to contribute to increasing the shortage of human resources working at factories in Okayama city.

The Mayor of Okayama City expressed his appreciation for the human resources that Long An Province is capable of sending to work at businesses in Okayama City. He also said that after the visit to Long An in 2023, there is a lot of potential for cooperation between the two sides in areas of interest, especially Long An Province has many conditions for further development.
