"The number of vehicles carrying goods in the border gates in Lang Son is from 500 to 700 vehicles per day, including vehicles carrying fresh fruit, other goods... which is completely normal," said the leader of the Lang Son Provincial Border Gate Management Center.
The report at 8:00 p.m. on October 26 of the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone Management Board showed that there were still over 500 vehicles (over 200 fruit vehicles) in the border gate area; of which, about 150 durian vehicles were waiting to complete export procedures. Fresh durian was cleared mainly at Tan Thanh, Huu Nghi, Chi Ma and Coc Nam border gates.
According to Tan Thanh Border Gate Customs, the unit is actively implementing solutions to facilitate trade, improve the efficiency of customs clearance of agricultural products in general and promote customs clearance of fresh durian exported to the Chinese market in particular.
Specifically, Tan Thanh Border Gate Customs has shortened the time to complete customs procedures to no more than 5 minutes from the time of receiving the goods dossier; arranged separate lanes for durian trucks, contributing to reducing congestion and ensuring the quality of goods. Currently, customs procedures for exported durian are still taking place normally, without congestion, the functional forces have coordinated well, creating favorable conditions for the export of goods through Tan Thanh Border Gate.
From the beginning of 2025 to mid-October 2025, Tan Thanh Border Gate Customs has processed about 11,000 durian export declarations, equivalent to over 208,000 tons of goods, with a turnover of over 635 million USD.
