Durian export clearance through Lang Son border gate is smooth.

On October 27, information from the Border Gate Management Center (Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone Management Board) said that the customs clearance of fresh durian from Vietnam to China through border gates in Lang Son province is still taking place normally; there is no congestion of vehicles and goods at the border gate. "It is completely normal for border gates in Lang Son to have 500-700 vehicles carrying goods stranded there each day, including vehicles carrying fresh fruit and other goods," said a leader of the Lang Son Provincial Border Gate Management Center.

According to a report from the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Economic Zone Management Board at 8 PM on October 26th, over 500 vehicles (over 200 fruit trucks) remained in the border gate area; of which, approximately 150 trucks carrying durian were awaiting completion of export procedures. Fresh durian was mainly cleared through customs at the Tan Thanh, Huu Nghi, Chi Ma, and Coc Nam border gates.

According to Tan Thanh Border Gate Customs, the unit is currently actively implementing solutions to facilitate trade, improve the efficiency of customs clearance for agricultural products in general, and promote the clearance of fresh durian fruit for export to the Chinese market in particular.

Specifically, the Tan Thanh border gate customs office has shortened the time to complete customs procedures to no more than 5 minutes from the time of receiving goods documents; arranged separate lanes for durian trucks, contributing to reducing congestion and ensuring the quality of goods. Currently, customs procedures for exported durian are proceeding normally, without congestion, and the relevant authorities are coordinating well, creating favorable conditions for the export of goods through the Tan Thanh border gate.

From the beginning of 2025 to mid-October 2025, Tan Thanh Border Gate Customs processed approximately 11,000 export declarations for durian, corresponding to over 208,000 tons of goods, with a value exceeding 635 million USD.
