Singing exchange on the Bac Luan border river.

On the afternoon of December 12th, a singing exchange program on the Bac Luan border river between young people from Mong Cai (Quang Ninh, Vietnam) and Dongxing (China) took place at the Xoay Nguon junction (Bac Luan border river) in 2025. This activity was part of a series of events at the 17th Vietnam-China International Trade and Tourism Fair 2025.

On a beautifully decorated flower boat on the friendly Bac Luan River, hundreds of men and women, including singers, actors, and young people from Mong Cai (Vietnam) and Dongxing (China), joined together to sing, play musical instruments, and perform unique dances, praising love for their homeland, romantic love, and the aspirations for peace of youth, and celebrating the friendship between Vietnam and China…

Vietnam and China are neighboring countries, sharing a common border; the people of the two countries have a long-standing traditional relationship of cooperation and friendship, meticulously nurtured by President Ho Chi Minh and Chairman Mao Zedong, along with many generations of leaders, which has become a precious asset of both nations. This friendship is always being cultivated and developed by the people of Vietnam and China.

The relationship between Quang Ninh province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is a vivid testament to the traditional friendship and practical cooperation between the two countries. The two localities have strengthened political trust and expanded cooperation in many areas, including economics, trade, investment, tourism, education and training, science and technology, cultural exchange, and people-to-people exchanges. Bilateral cooperation mechanisms are maintained regularly and effectively, contributing to the socio-economic development of the border region, improving people's lives, and consolidating the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and China.

The annual exchange program of singing on the Bac Luan border river is a "unique feature, a symphony of friendship" between Mong Cai (Vietnam) and Dongxing (China).

A highlight following the singing exchange program was the sports exchange activity. The people, officials, and youth of the two localities and two countries were delighted and excited to cheer on the Pickleball exchange activity for the first time.

Promoting economic cooperation, cultural and artistic exchanges, and sports activities will further strengthen the solidarity and friendship between the governments and people of the two localities and two countries, in order to jointly build and cultivate the Vietnam-China friendship...
