Ms. Bich recounted that she had long admired dried beef and smoked buffalo meat. The sweetness of the meat after being sun-dried, combined with the aroma of spices, the smoky scent of the kitchen, and the spicy kick of garlic, chili, and pepper, was very appealing. However, it was only after taking tourists to Central Vietnam and letting them sample sun-dried beef and Phu Yen 's Kien Vang salt that Ms. Bich conceived the idea of creating the Nui Han sun-dried beef product.

After learning and gaining experience in processing techniques, in June 2024, Ms. Bich launched her first batch of products. Surprisingly, her sun-dried beef product was enthusiastically supported by her friends and consumers. The product is made from fresh beef sourced from centralized slaughterhouses that have been certified for food safety and hygiene. The seasoning method is also different from sun-dried beef and salt from Phu Yen. Along with traditional spices (chili, garlic, pepper), Ms. Bich adds finely ground mắc kén and dổi seeds, giving the Nui Han sun-dried beef product a distinctive and appealing aroma. According to Ms. Bich's calculations, for every 100 kg of fresh meat, the cooperative yields 65-70 kg of finished product. If the weather is very sunny, she dries the beef in the sun; if it's humid, she puts it in a drying machine. Therefore, the product quality is consistent, unaffected by the weather, and meets orders both within and outside the province.

Ms. Bich shared: “The Nui Han Community Tourism Cooperative has identified the production of Nui Han sun-dried beef as a way to leverage existing potential and diversify culinary culture. At the same time, it actively contributes to the community's development of agricultural production and business in the locality, providing the market with high-quality, delicious, safe, and unique products.” With its current capacity, the Cooperative provides stable employment for 5 workers with an income of approximately 200,000 VND per day.
According to the representative of the Economic Department of Lang Giang commune, the Nui Han Community Tourism Cooperative, despite only starting operations in 2023, has already sold products that meet the increasing demands of the market and is capable of handling large orders. With advantages such as unique products, guaranteed food safety and hygiene, and the use of readily available local raw materials, the Nui Han sun-dried beef product was selected by the People's Committee of Lang Giang district (formerly) at the end of 2024 to achieve OCOP 3-star rating.
