On the evening of November 21, at the Tran Nhan Tong walking street - Thong Nhat Park (Hai Ba Trung ward, Hanoi), the Hanoi Department of Tourism held the opening ceremony of the 3rd Hanoi Autumn Festival in 2025 with the theme "Hanoi Autumn - Autumn of Memories".
This year's Hanoi Autumn Festival brings together about 150 exhibition booths, introducing the beauty of local tourism; introducing the activities of airlines, travel businesses, destinations and artisans.
The Festival space is designed like slices of autumn, where tours, cultural products, craft villages and traditional arts blend together in a creative flow.
The "Old Quarter Travel Zone" area gathers stimulus products from airlines, hotels, and travel businesses, creating a vibrant rhythm for the year-end tourist season.
The unique features of Hanoi tourism are also conveyed through the cuisine in the "Taste of Memory" space, where visitors enjoy dishes associated with autumn and the cultures of the three regions.
The “Hanoi - Youthful Life” area offers street performances, craft workshops, sketching and a playground for children. Meanwhile, the “Hanoi - Autumn through the lens” exhibition tells the story of Hanoi through images of photographers and people who love the capital.
The art performance on the morning of November 23 at Tran Nhan Tong walking street is a folk performance with the participation of folk art teams such as Thanh Oai lion dance, Te Tieu puppetry, Dan Phuong rowing...
In parallel with the main activities, a series of community playgrounds were deployed such as: "Autumn in my eyes" opens up a creative world for children through poetry, music, and paintings; "Moments of Hanoi memories" encourages the community to record the beloved moments of autumn through photography; the "Hanoi 5 gates" experience tour combined with The Hanoi Train helps visitors recreate the old journey...
The 2025 Hanoi Autumn Festival marks a strong presence of technology in cultural storytelling. Technological applications allow visitors to experience virtual reality to step into a technologically recreated autumn Hanoi, where memories, images and sounds are interwoven in every angle.
3D simulation technology and digital space help old stories come alive, connecting heritage with the younger generation. AR and VR applications bring the capital's culture closer to international visitors, helping the festival's storytelling reach even those who come to Hanoi for the first time.
Autumn in Hanoi is the most beautiful season of the year. The Hanoi Autumn Festival takes place in the late autumn and early winter days as an activity to stimulate tourism in the capital in the final period of 2025.
