Forest rangers are at the core of making strategic changes in forest resource management.

At the conference, the leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Environment affirmed that Directive 71-CT/TU has an important guiding significance for the management, protection and development of forests in the city. In particular, the forest rangers are the core force, both directly performing the task of regular forest protection and advising on policies, contributing to creating strategic changes in forest resource management.

Accordingly, the management work needs to focus on key tasks such as: Planning, arranging forest land, handling encroachment, forest allocation, forest recovery; at the same time developing the multi-use value of forest ecosystems, promoting carbon credits, eco- tourism - resorts, medicinal herbs, planting large timber forests and converting planted forests associated with sustainable forest management certification.

At the same time, it is necessary to implement the Project to perfect the forest ranger force in a professional direction, ensuring quality and public service ethics; boldly advise and propose pilot policies and specific forestry mechanisms for the city, creating a breakthrough in the sustainable development of the forestry sector.

In addition to thoroughly grasping Directive 71-CT/TU, the conference also clearly defined the responsibilities of collectives and individuals in implementing the tasks of forest management, protection and development. Thereby, creating unity in awareness and action, determination to develop the city's forestry work comprehensively and sustainably, associated with the goal of environmental protection and local socio -economic development.
