On this occasion, more than 300 elderly people and people in difficult circumstances were screened. Of these, 200 people received free eye surgery and treatment. After surgery, the patients were instructed by the hospital's doctors on daily eye care as well as provided with eye medication and 1 pair of goggles. KIDO also gave the patients a small gift when they left.
The program "Free eye surgery to bring light to poor patients" initiated and implemented by the Ho Chi Minh City Association for Supporting Poor Patients is one of the key programs that KIDO Group has been interested in and accompanied for over the past two decades. As of 2023, KIDO has contributed to the Association to help more than 710,000 poor patients find light and new hope in life.

Up to now, KIDO has supported more than 57 billion VND for charity activities across the country and will continue to spread these humane values in the coming time.
