Focus on relocating technical infrastructure systems to serve the construction of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway

(DN)- On May 7, the Long Thanh District Project Management Board said that it is focusing resources to relocate the technical infrastructure system to serve the construction of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project, the section passing through the district.

Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway section through Long Thanh district has about 50 intersections with technical infrastructure systems, mainly medium, low voltage, high voltage lines and 1 500 kV line location. To date, units have relocated about 60% of medium and low voltage lines. It is expected that by the end of May 2025, the relocation of medium and low voltage power systems will be completed.

For high voltage power lines (220 kV, 110 kV), the foundations have been basically dug and pillars have been erected at locations where people have handed over the land. There are still some pillar foundation locations where people have not received compensation, and the authorities are negotiating and persuading people to hand over the land soon.

As for the 500 kV power line, there is a schedule for power outages and relocation completion in mid-May. According to the Long Thanh District Project Management Board, the unit is closely coordinating with contractors, prioritizing infrastructure relocation in locations that urgently need construction sites.

Meanwhile, for the section passing through Bien Hoa city, the provincial land fund development center said that the contractor is currently mobilizing dozens of human resources and machinery to relocate the technical infrastructure system to serve the project construction. In particular, the water supply system has basically completed digging the pipe ditches and is installing pipes. The high-voltage, medium-voltage and low-voltage power lines are digging foundations and erecting pillars. It is expected that the relocation of the water supply system and medium-voltage and low-voltage power lines will be completed by the end of May, and the relocation of the high-voltage power lines will be completed by June.
