
Cooperation award ceremony of Vietnam - Japan Economic Promotion Association and Tay Ninh Department of Industry and Trade on promoting support for Tay Ninh province enterprises to display and export products to Japan
The conference was chaired by the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province, with the participation of Vietnamese Consul General in Osaka Ngo Trinh Ha, leaders of major Japanese economic organizations such as JETRO Osaka, Vietnam - Japan Economic Promotion Association, Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association, representatives of Wakayama provincial government and many businesses in the Kansai region.
On the side of Tay Ninh province, there were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Tan Hoa, along with leaders of departments, branches and localities. The program attracted more than 100 enterprises and economic groups from Vietnam and Japan, demonstrating the deep interest of investors in the business environment and cooperation potential of the province.
In his welcome speech, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Tan Hoa affirmed: Japan has always been the province's leading economic partner. Currently, Tay Ninh has 176 FDI projects from Japan, with a total capital of more than 1.26 billion USD, ranking 4th out of 40 countries and territories with investment projects in the province. Tay Ninh prioritizes attracting investment in the fields of high-tech industry, energy, logistics, digital transformation and smart cities, and is committed to creating a safe - attractive - sustainable investment environment for Japanese enterprises.

Vietnamese Consul General in Osaka Ngo Trinh Ha highly appreciated Tay Ninh’s efforts to expand cooperation in the Kansai region – where many large Japanese industrial corporations are concentrated. The province’s proactive approach and direct work with the local business community is considered a strategic step, creating a solid foundation for the upcoming period of extensive cooperation.
In the introduction of the province's potential and advantages, Director of the Department of Finance Truong Van Liep emphasized the strategic role of Tay Ninh in the regional economic network: "Tay Ninh has a particularly important position, being the gateway connecting Ho Chi Minh City with the Mekong Delta and a trade hub with Cambodia through 4 international border gates. This is a rare advantage, creating a strong driving force for trade, logistics services and border gate economy."
He added that the province is focusing on developing industrial infrastructure with the goal of forming 59 industrial parks and 82 industrial clusters by 2030, with a total area of more than 21,372 hectares, of which more than 1,000 hectares of clean land are ready to receive projects.
“We always strive to improve our competitiveness index and create an open and transparent investment environment. Tay Ninh is committed to accompanying Japanese enterprises in a spirit of cooperation, responsibility and efficiency,” the Director of the Department of Finance affirmed.
These conditions help the province become a potential destination for investment in production, logistics, trade and supporting industry.

The discussion and business connection session took place enthusiastically, recording the interest of a series of large corporations: Acecook studied investing in a new factory in Tay Ninh; Yumoto Group, which has invested in the province, wishes to expand the scale of its existing project; Sumitomo Forestry explored opportunities for developing renewable energy; ST Trading proposed cooperation in distributing scientific and technological equipment and promoting applied research.
Many Japanese enterprises also proposed implementing Japanese language training programs to improve the quality of local human resources. The networking session showed positive signals, opening up opportunities for deeper cooperation in the future.
The program also included the donation of a "Community Bookcase" to the Cay Tre Community Vietnamese Language School in Osaka, contributing to supporting Vietnamese students in learning and preserving the Vietnamese language.
On the sidelines of the conference, the delegation paid a courtesy call to Ngo Trinh Ha, Consul General of Vietnam in Osaka. The two sides discussed the direction of cooperation in promoting economic diplomacy and expanding connections between Tay Ninh and Japanese organizations and enterprises in the coming period.

After the program in Kansai, the Tay Ninh delegation will continue to work with many organizations and corporations in Tokyo and Yamanashi province to expand the cooperation network, seek new investment fields and promote economic and trade relations between Tay Ninh and Japan to new heights./.
