As the weather in Da Nang enters the changing seasons in early March, a series of "giant" bougainvillea trees along the Han River bloom, creating a romantic scene in the heart of the coastal city.
Walking along Tran Hung Dao and Bach Dang streets (Da Nang city), many tourists have been attracted by the beauty of this flower.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha (tourist from Quang Tri ) said: “I have seen many places growing bougainvillea. But in Da Nang, the flowers bloom in large clumps, combined with the bridges to create a very unique scene.”
When the sun sets, the afternoon sunlight turns the whole space golden, enhancing the beauty of the fragile petals swaying in the wind. This is also the time of day when most people come to take photos. At many times, dozens of "muses" and tourists jostle next to a flower bush.

Many young people choose beautiful corners next to flower bushes to watch the sunset and save memories when coming here.
Hoai Anh (student of Dong A University - Da Nang) shared: "I saw a lot of photos taken with bougainvillea in Da Nang on social media, so when I had the chance to visit, I didn't want to miss it. Just standing under a flower trellis is enough to take beautiful photos home."
Bougainvillea is a simple flower with paper-thin petals that blooms in the summer. The more sunlight it gets, the more colorful it becomes.
Locals say that the bougainvillea trellises along the Han River have been around for a long time, gradually becoming an indispensable part, like a "specialty" of Da Nang every summer.
"Every flower season, this place attracts many tourists to stop under the flowers, sip sugarcane juice, coconut water... and watch the city. Therefore, business and trade also become more bustling when the flower season comes," a local resident shared.
