Accordingly, in recent times, with the attention and facilitation of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the digital transformation and development of the information technology industry of Thanh Hoa province have achieved many encouraging results, contributing to the overall socio-economic development.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for Digital Transformation of Thanh Hoa Province Mai Xuan Liem said that Thanh Hoa has identified digital transformation as one of the key tasks and breakthroughs in the current period. With the spirit of implementing digital transformation in all areas, but with focus and key points; prioritizing administrative management, providing public services, first of all in areas related to people and businesses; taking people and businesses as the center, the subject and the goal, the driving force of digital transformation and how to make people and businesses also participate and accompany in the digital transformation process.

Currently, Thanh Hoa has built and put into operation the province's Open Data Portal, initially providing 195 databases in 15 fields to serve the provision and sharing of timely, public, and transparent data of government agencies to businesses and people.

Regarding digital government, Thanh Hoa province has implemented the processing of documents and work records, sending/receiving documents entirely in the electronic environment in 3 levels of government from provincial, district to commune levels. Along with that, the network security monitoring and operating system (SOC) has been invested, ensuring information security for the province's shared information systems and always operating stably, smoothly, and safely 24/7. Thanh Hoa is the locality that has completed the model of information security nationwide.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung requested Thanh Hoa province to continue to strive and make efforts to successfully complete the set goals and tasks. At the same time, in the coming time, Thanh Hoa province needs to identify key tasks to implement the digital transformation task and develop the information technology industry.

The Deputy Minister of Information and Communications said that after this working session, the Ministry will issue a conclusion on specific tasks for Thanh Hoa province in the coming time. Emphasizing the task of strengthening inspection, examination, and assessment of architectural planning; reviewing internal regulations and rules for the implementation of information technology projects; and the issue of attracting businesses to invest and operate in the province.

At the same time, focus on reviewing and eliminating signal depressions in the area; effectively exploiting data centers; effectively and practically implementing community digital technology team activities. Some tasks related to digital institutional work; the role and responsibility of Party committees, authorities, the participation of people and the business community in digital transformation.

At the meeting, delegates from Thanh Hoa province highlighted the role of digital transformation as well as the inevitable trend of information technology in the integration and development period, demonstrating their determination and efforts in carrying out this task. At the same time, they exchanged, discussed, and resolved difficulties and obstacles in the digital transformation process.
