According to the Decision, the Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of Nam Dinh Province (Management Board) is an agency under the People's Committee of Nam Dinh Province, performing the function of direct state management of economic zones and industrial parks in Nam Dinh Province; managing and organizing the implementation of the function of providing public administrative services and other support services related to investment, production and business activities for enterprises in economic zones and industrial parks according to the provisions of law.

The Management Board has legal status, an account, a seal bearing the National Emblem; state administrative management expenses, career operation expenses of the Management Board and development investment capital are provided by the state budget according to the plan and other funding sources according to regulations of competent state agencies.

The Management Board performs its duties and powers in accordance with current laws. The Head of the Management Board shall submit to the People's Committee of Nam Dinh province specific regulations on the functions, duties, powers and organizational structure of the Management Board in accordance with the provisions of law.
