On the morning of April 6, thousands of people flocked to the Zoo to visit and have fun on the second day of the Hung Kings' death anniversary holiday.
According to Dan Tri reporters , the ticket area at the entrance of the Zoo was packed with people. Many people said it took nearly 30 minutes to get their turn to buy tickets. Ticket prices remain the same as before, at 60,000 VND for adults and 40,000 VND for children.
The walkways inside the Zoo were packed with people on the morning of April 6.
This year's Hung Kings' Commemoration Day holiday lasts 3 days. Many people in Ho Chi Minh City do not choose to travel far, but instead go to entertainment areas in the city such as the Zoo, Dam Sen, commercial centers... to have fun.
"I took my children to the Zoo during this holiday. Initially, we planned to go to Vung Tau to swim, but because we were afraid of traffic jams, our family chose to have fun right in the city," said Le Thai Nam (41 years old, living in Binh Thanh district).
A child is excited to visit the Elephant cage inside the Zoo.
By noon, the weather is hot, many families take advantage of finding a cool place with shade, on the grass to spread out a tarp to rest and eat. "Every year my family takes the children to the Zoo to visit and play. There are many trees here, cool, very suitable for camping", a resident shared.
Some people use the adjacent tree roots to hang hammocks to avoid the heat.
Many young people also choose the Zoo to date and have fun on the second day of the Hung Kings' death anniversary holiday.
The zoo is raising more than 1,300 animals of 125 species, including many rare species such as crested pheasants, douc langurs, yellow-cheeked gibbons, golden deer, leopards, clouded leopards... There are also more than 2,500 trees with more than 900 species of preserved plants.
The swimming pool area inside the Zoo is always crowded.
The free water park area for children is also very busy, hundreds of children enjoy playing in the water in the midday sun.
