Another victory for Vietnamese women's volleyball representative in Thailand

The reigning Vietnamese women's volleyball champion, VTV Binh Dien Long An Club, continued its winning streak at the SEALECT Cup 2025 volleyball tournament in Thailand.

After the opening match with an easy 3-0 victory over Thammasat University, today VTV Binh Dien Long An Club continued to have a 3-1 victory over RMUTT Club, also from the host country Thailand. However, this was not an easy match for coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa and her team.

RMUTT Club entered the match impressively, using their attacks well to gain an advantage over VTV Binh Dien Long An Club. Tra My's timely brilliance helped VTV Binh Dien Long An Club rise to win 25/23 in game 1. The host representative of Thailand returned strongly in game 2, using their powerful attacks effectively, winning 25/20, equalizing the score 1-1.

The third game witnessed a fierce competition between RMUTT Club and VTV Binh Dien Long An. The timely appearance of former player Kim Thanh helped the Vietnamese women's volleyball representative rise to win 25/21. Kim Thanh and her teammates continued to play well in game 4 when they created a big gap, but RMUTT Club persistently pursued and equalized the score. However, Vo Thi Kim Thoa and her teammates exploded in time, rising to win 25/23, thereby closing the final victory of 3-1 against RMUTT Club.

With 2 consecutive victories, VTV Binh Dien Long An Club maintains the top position in Group A. At 5:00 p.m. tomorrow, VTV Binh Dien Long An Club will play the final match of the group stage, facing PEA Sisaket VC.

In Group B of the SEALECT Cup volleyball tournament, there are 4 teams: Aranmare Yamagata (Japan) and 3 host teams: Supreme Chonburi, Khonkaen Star, Suan Sunandha. After the group stage of the SEALECT Cup 2025 volleyball tournament, the teams will compete in the quarter-finals in the format of the first place team of Group A vs. the fourth place team of Group B, the second place team of Group A vs. the third place team of Group B, the first place team of Group B vs. the fourth place team of Group A, and the second place team of Group B vs. the third place team of Group A.
