On the evening of November 3, Mr. Nguyen Tran Vy, Principal of Ngoc Linh Primary Boarding School (Tra Linh Commune, Da Nang City), said that heavy rains that have lasted for many days have caused serious subsidence at the school in Village 1 (Tak Ngo), with the risk of landslides, forcing the school to relocate all learning equipment to ensure safety.

Tak Ngo school has 34 students, including 14 first graders and 20 second graders. This school belongs to Ngoc Linh Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities. Students from grade 3 will study at the school, first and second graders will study at the school.
According to Mr. Vy, since October 30, due to prolonged heavy rain, the school grounds have begun to subside and crack, and are now completely unsafe.
Recent heavy rains have severely damaged both classroom buildings, including the old building built 7 years ago and the new building completed in August 2025.

Prolonged heavy rains left Tak Ngo school with cracked walls, collapsed foundations, and scattered tables and chairs.
Due to the prolonged heavy rain, the road to the school was cut off, slippery and dangerous, so teachers and residents could only evacuate when the weather stabilized. On November 3, all tables, chairs and equipment were moved to the Kon Pin village cultural house, about 1 km from the school.
"Students will be temporarily arranged to study in the central area of Tra Linh commune in the near future," Mr. Vy informed.
