More than 400 contract teachers are paid salaries and allowances.

(Dan Tri) - Thanh Hoa province has approved a targeted supplement to the budget for paying salaries, allowances and contributions to more than 400 contract teachers in the area.

Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, signed a decision approving a total budget of more than VND 22 billion to pay salaries, allowances and contributions for 417 contract teachers in 2025.

Beneficiaries are contract workers working as teachers whose contracts have been signed by school principals according to the instructions of the Department of Home Affairs on June 29.

The provincial budget ensures the payment of salaries, allowances and contributions according to the regime and basic salary for the number of months according to the contract in 2025 for contract workers.

The People's Committees of communes and wards are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the submission as a basis for building implementation needs, ensuring the legality of the attached documents.

The remaining budget and other arising policies and regimes (if any) are undertaken by the commune level from the commune and ward budget.

The employer is responsible for implementing the payment of benefits and policies according to actual working time to ensure compliance with the prescribed regime.

The funding source is from the education , training and vocational training expenditure source in the 2025 provincial budget estimate.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province also requested the Department of Finance to take full responsibility before the law, the Provincial People's Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and inspection, examination, auditing agencies and relevant agencies for the accuracy, legality and approval authority.

The Department of Finance and State Treasury of Region XI, based on the approved content, are responsible for inspecting, controlling and implementing additional targeted professional procedures for communes and wards to implement assigned tasks, ensuring compliance with regulations.

People's Committees of communes and wards proactively use the supplemented funds and balance local budget sources to implement policies and regimes, and make timely and correct payments to the right subjects.

School principals are responsible for the signing, legality, validity and implementation of labor contracts in accordance with the provisions of law, ensuring the regime, policies and legitimate rights of employees.

Previously, in early October, Thanh Hoa province approved a total budget of more than 53 billion VND to pay salaries, allowances and contributions for 893 contract teachers.
