(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, Mr. Do Minh Tuan, has signed an approval for supplementary budget allocation to support the payment of salaries, allowances, and contributions for contract teachers in the first phase of 2025.
The total funding for this phase amounts to nearly 53 billion VND, allocated from the education , training, and vocational training budget of Thanh Hoa province in 2025.
Fourteen districts and towns received additional funding support. Of these, Hoang Hoa district received the most, over 10 billion VND, while the mountainous Lang Chanh district received the least, with over 750 million VND.

The Department of Finance of Thanh Hoa province is fully responsible before the law, the Provincial People's Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and inspection, examination, and auditing agencies for the accuracy, legality, and approval authority of the advisory content, appraisal, and reporting data, and for ensuring compliance with the prescribed conditions, standards, and norms.
The People's Committees of districts and towns that receive additional funding are responsible for managing and using the allocated funds in accordance with regulations, policies, conditions, standards, norms, objectives, and target groups, while ensuring economy, efficiency, transparency, preventing loss and waste, and carrying out settlements in accordance with current regulations.
Local authorities are also tasked with proactively balancing their own budgets, combined with supplementary funding from the provincial budget, to ensure timely and accurate payment of policies and benefits to eligible recipients as stipulated.
At the same time, localities must take responsibility for determining the shortage of general education teachers and specialized teachers to sign labor contracts at preschools, primary schools, and lower secondary schools, ensuring a balanced structure of subjects and avoiding localized shortages or surpluses.
Chairpersons of the People's Committees of districts and towns must properly perform their assigned duties and powers and are responsible before the law, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for their decisions.
