According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, Hanoi will have occasional showers and thunderstorms, with some heavy rain in some places. Ho Chi Minh City will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and at night, with some heavy rain in some places.

The meteorological agency said that at 6:00 a.m. on July 20, the center of storm No. 3 was at about 21.6 degrees north latitude; 115.0 degrees east longitude, about 735km from Mong Cai ( Quang Ninh ).
Strongest wind: Level 11 (103-117km/h), gusting to level 14. Forecast in the next 3 hours, the storm will move in the West Northwest direction, speed about 20-25km/h.
