Vietnam Road Administration ( Ministry of Construction ) informed on the morning of November 7 that Road Management Area III in charge of the National Highways from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak had just reported quickly that as of 8:00 a.m. on November 7, due to the influence of storm No. 13, localities in the area were experiencing heavy rain and strong winds following the storm's circulation.

On National Highway 1 and Truong Son Dong Road through Gia Lai and Dak Lak in the storm's eye, there are many fallen trees, electric poles, corrugated iron roofs and objects flying onto the road. The road maintenance units are cutting and clearing them to promptly clear the road. National Highway 1 through Song Cau, Tuy An, Dong Hoa (Dak Lak, Truong Son Dong Road, Gia Lai province) has fallen trees causing local traffic jams.
On Truong Son Dong road, at Dak Po To bridge Km378+130, the M1 bridge abutment has been eroded, the entire road at the bridgehead is not accessible; the section Km390+500-Km391+400 TSĐ Gia Lai has water flooding the road surface from 1.2-1.8 m, completely blocking the road due to flooding; the section Km402-Km402+700 TSĐ Gia Lai has water flooding the road surface on average 1.2-1.4 m, completely blocking the road due to flooding; the section Km404+100-Km404+350 TSĐ Gia Lai has water flooding the road surface on average 1.2-1.4 m, completely blocking the road due to flooding. All flooded areas have been barricaded, road closure signs have been posted, and information has been provided to the local authorities.
QLDB III has informed the Gia Lai Department of Construction and local authorities about the damage and traffic congestion on Truong Son Dong Road and coordinated traffic diversion; arranged staff on site and deployed work to repair Dak Po To Bridge Km378+130; urged field offices and road maintenance units to urgently implement on-site solutions to clear the road as quickly as possible.
