What happened has left behind immense pain and loss for the people of Lang Nu in particular and the Party Committee, government and people of Bao Yen in general. The work of overcoming the consequences may still be lengthy, but in the spirit of determination to "Turn pain into action", the entire political system from the Central to the grassroots level and the people will join hands, unite and urgently rebuild this land with the belief that the new Lang Nu will be more beautiful, more livable, safer and more affectionate.
The land of Lang Nu has absorbed the sweat, tears and blood of soldiers. Hardship and danger are always present when the terrain and weather conditions are not favorable. There were many hardships and dangers lurking. But the soldiers did not falter. When arriving at Nu Village, before the soldiers' eyes was a flat land of wooden stakes, bamboo trunks, corrugated iron roofs, motorbikes, water tanks, and animal carcasses, giving off a strong fishy smell. Police dogs that participated in the rescue at the Rao Trang 3 hydropower plant landslide, Tra Leng, and the Türkiye earthquake were sent to search for missing people. In those days, when the flood swept away everything, the soldiers together overcame the danger, determined to search and rescue the villagers. The Xam soldiers searched for victims and smelled to identify them. Every step and every look on the muddy road carried anxiety but was also full of enthusiasm, compassion, and a spirit of readiness to sacrifice oneself to serve the people. In that tragic situation, hundreds of soldiers and police officers persistently searched the rubble to bring the victims' bodies back to their families. After 15 days of coordinated search, forces of Military Region 2 and border guards did not mind the difficulties, rain, and wading through deep mud, helping to find many bodies of missing victims in Lang Nu.
