Unified will and determination to prevent and fight corruption

A thematic meeting to study and research the works of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at Residential Area Party Cell No. 8, Thanh Cong Ward (Ba Dinh District).

Implementing Plan No. 147-KH/TU dated March 30, 2023 of the Hanoi Party Committee, recently, Party organizations have organized extensive political and ideological activities among cadres and Party members on the work "Resolutely and persistently fight against corruption and negativity, contributing to building our Party and State increasingly clean and strong" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. Opinions say that the fundamental issue in the fight against corruption and negativity is to prevent from afar, early and regularly, continuously; determined to fight against "internal invaders".

Extensive political activity

At the thematic meeting at the Party cell of Cua Nam Ward Party Committee (Hoan Kiem District), Party members were informed in advance about the very special content of the meeting. That is, to discuss the work "Resolutely and persistently fight against corruption and negativity, contributing to building our Party and State increasingly clean and strong" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. Each Party member has a personal appreciation for the main contents and issues that General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has summarized and systematized in his position as the head of our Party and Head of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption and Negativity.

Secretary of the Party Cell No. 2 of the Cua Nam Ward Party Committee, Phung Thi Bich Hai, shared that the content of the General Secretary's works is very rich, valuable in theory and practice. This activity is an opportunity for Party members to evaluate and recognize the Party's anti-corruption campaign and what needs to be done in the coming time; at the same time, they also look back at themselves to see what they need to improve in their work to continue contributing to the development of the Party.

Like many other Party cells, Party Cell 10, Lieu Giai Ward Party Committee (Ba Dinh District) recently organized an activity to introduce the work of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to more than 100 Party members. Deputy Secretary of Party Cell 10 Nguyen Van Thuy said that the political activity created unity from Party members in the cell to the people in the fight against corruption, negativity and the work of Party building and rectification. Through the work, it shows the concern and drastic and consistent actions of the leader of our Party in the fight against corruption and negativity; actively building a clean and strong Party and political system.

According to Head of the Propaganda Department of Ba Dinh District Party Committee Pham Thi Hong Hanh, the political activity among cadres and party members on the content of the General Secretary's work was seriously implemented by the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, ensuring that the ideology and content of the work permeated deeply into each cadre, party member and people. Thanks to that, each party member deeply understood the core content of the work, especially the Party's guidelines, viewpoints and mottos, and the State's policies and laws on the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity in the current period.

Determined to fight against "internal invaders"

The Party Committees of Ba Dinh, Hoan Kiem, Thanh Xuan districts... are units that actively carry out thematic activities in their Party cells on the works of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. Through the works, cadres, Party members and people better understand the policies, guidelines and determination to fight against "internal invaders", prevent, repel and strictly handle corruption and negativity of our Party and State.

Head of the Propaganda Department of Dong Anh District Party Committee Pham Trong La said that in the coming time, the district's Party Committees will seriously organize sessions to introduce the content of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's works to cadres, Party members, Youth Union members, and members of socio-political organizations. In particular, introducing the works will be included in the activities of the Party Committee, monthly Party cell activities, and thematic activities of each Party cell, while at the same time being associated with the topic of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style.

Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Thanh Xuan District Party Committee Bui Huyen Mai shared that in order for the political activity to be effectively implemented, Party committees at all levels have developed a plan to organize political and ideological activities associated with thematic activities to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style of the district in 2023 "Promoting cultural values, building public ethics and raising the sense of responsibility of cadres and Party members of Thanh Xuan district". Thereby helping Party committees, Party organizations, the political system and people of the district understand and carry out more effectively the work of fighting against corruption and negativity.

In the coming time, the plan to promote and introduce the General Secretary's works in the meetings of Party committees and Party cells in the city, and to put the book on the "Electronic Party Member Handbook" application will contribute to conveying the General Secretary's enthusiasm in the fight against corruption and negativity, bringing him closer to the cadres, Party members and people of the Capital. From there, creating synchronization, comprehensiveness and consistency from ideology, viewpoints to actions in the fight against corruption and negativity of our Party, building more units and Party organizations that are truly clean and strong.
